WUAD Launches 2012 Essay Scholarship Contest

Wake Up and Dream (WUAD) has established an essay scholarship contest to promote student interest in improving their school or local community as well as to provide financial assistance to encourage a life of continued education. The contest will provide students with an opportunity to create their own community service project, which can help fulfill the 100 hours of volunteer community service that each student must complete in order to graduate. The community improvement idea of the winning contestant will become the next fundraising and service project of Wake Up and Dream. The contest will begin in January 2012.
